Emerging ARTivist Program

We believe the most powerful way to get people back into public space is through art.
That's why STEPS started the Emerging ARTivist Program - to enable our next generation of ARTivists: those who use art to connect people to public spaces.

Program participants will wrestle with several questions through workshop, mentorship and leadership opportunities.
  • What is public space, and why is it necessary?
  • What makes a public space great?
  • How can public spaces contribute to community life?

This program is being hosted in Thorncliffe Park, in partnership with the Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office and with the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
